Rian Pra Somdej Lor Boran Buddha Amulet - Pim Yant Leuk (Deeply Engraved Yantra on rear face) - Run Sao Ha (5th Lunar Saturday Blessing Ceremony) Pae 91 (91st Birthday Edition) 2536 BE - Nuea Tong Pasom - Luang Por Pae Wat Pikul Tong
The Rian Loha Hlang Yant Leuk Luang Por Pae (Pim NIyom) is one of the more highly preferred metallic type amulets of Luang Por Pae, which is one of three different models made in this particular series, which were the Somdej Pim Yant Leuk, Pim Dtern, and the Pim Pra Putta Chinarat Hlang Yant.
The coin is an oblong shaped coin with a Buddha seated on a Dais, made from Nuea Tong Pasom (sacred Metals with Brass and some Gold).
The rear face of the coin has features as following; the word 'Pae' pn the top left corner, and the numbers '91' on the top right corner, with small round indentation separating them. the center of the rear face has the classig Yant Pu Soorn of Luang Por Pae, which consists of three Khom Latter 'Pu' inscriptions in concentric design.
Below the Yant Pu Soorn, are the two Khom Letter 'Cha' and 'Ya' for 'Chaya' meaning 'Victory'. This is an allusion to the Victory of the Lord Buddha over the Mara Demon of Illusion, and also alludes to the blessing of Victory over all Obstacles and Efforts in the life of the Devotee who pays reverence to the amulet, and its maker Luang Por Pae.
Below the letters 'Cha Ya' are the words 'Sao' (bottom left corner, meaning 'Saturday') and 'Ha' (bottom right corner meaning '5').
This refers to the Blessing Ceremony of the edition which was performed on the 5th Lunar Saturday, an extremely auspicious date for empowerment of amulets, which is selected with Astrologers of the Sangha, and Brahman Laymasters to bring the best auspicious astrological alignments into force for Buddha Abhiseka Blessing Ceremonies. Between the words 'Sao Ha' is a small indented code stamp of authenticity, which must be present in all authentic versions of this amulet.
Released in the Year 2536, celebrating the 91st year of Luang Por Pae of Wat Pikul Tong.
Luang Por Pae, or, better known as Somdej Sangkarach Pae, is one of the last half century's most reverent and long-standing respected monks of the royal procession of state esteemed monks.
Luang Por Pae excelled in both his behavioural practice as well as his academic studies and adepts applied practice of Vipassana Kammathana in the Thai Tudong Forest tradition.
The amulets of this great master, have been seen to dwindle from the public amulet markets, which is due to the fact that not only Thai people have been reverie and holding his Amulets over the last decade or so up, rather that all around Southeast Asia.
Even as far as western world, people have been snapping up and hiding and stashing away his Amulets like treasure that may never be found again, which is indeed going to be true pretty soon.
This has resulted in an accelerated depletion of his Amulets, despite the fact that classic Amulets made according to the official formulas such as the Pra Somdej amulet, are making numbers of up to 84,000 per edition they have still managed to rapidly disappear from the public view, and are amongst the most highly sought after amulets by devotees around the whole world.
They are now not only becoming classics but also extreme rarities and the next decade can expect to see these Amulets becoming immensely difficult to seek out.
